Is your son or daughter a Liberty athlete? Of course you want the best athletic experience for them. Help ensure the high quality of Liberty’s athletic programs by becoming a member of the LionBackers. The LionBackers provide financial support for the school’s athletic teams, promote school spirit and pride, and foster camaraderie and stewardship among athletes, parents, and the community.
The LionBackers do this primarily by:
- Operating concession stands in the stadium and the gym lobby
- Selling spirit wear, team magnets and stadium chairs
- Sponsoring six scholarships for graduating athletes
- Promoting its corporate sponsorship program which sells advertising banners and digital ads
Look around! The LionBackers recently have funded or partially funded:
- Repainting the school name on the water tower
- A new trophy case for athletic awards and plaques
- New sod for the stadium field
- Regrading and new dirt for the softball and baseball fields
