Cross Country ended their season on a high note. Girls and Boys teams came in third at the State Championship meet. Two girls and five boys finished in the top 25! Rebecca Gauthier – 10th, Cora Broske 17th, Tyler Edson 7th, Noah Petroski 9th, Logan Cyford 20th, Brendan Luck 22nd, Greg Schellberg 24th. Liberty also won the MSPPAA Sportsmanship Award! This is given to the team which displays the best overall sportsmanship while participating in the Regional and State championships. Each school’s coaches, players, and spectators are graded on the level of sportsmanship they project. Great work, Lions…on and off the course!
